I’m Matt Busscher, one of the service techs here at Baumann & DeGroot. Outside of work, I like keeping up with the NFL action, always rooting for my favorite teams. Go ahead and ask me which ones—I’m always up for a good sports chat! I truly love what I do, and I’m dedicated to delivering top-notch service with a smile.

I’m Travis Valdo, but around here, they call me T-bone or T-masta. Before settling down in Michigan, I soaked up the aloha vibes in Hawaii for six years—quite the change of scenery! While the palm trees may be a bit sparse here, the team at Baumann & DeGroot make every day feel like paradise. I’m Xander Goodrich, but most folks around here call me Curly thanks to my wild mane of hair! I’m the youngest service tech on the team, with about two years of experience under my belt. When I’m not tackling HVAC challenges, you’ll often find me pumping iron at the gym. Besides bodybuilding, working as a service tech is another passion of mine. I’m pumped to bring that energy and dedication to providing excellent service to your home!

I’m Tyler Meengs! When I’m not busy troubleshooting HVAC systems, you’ll often find me out on the water. I’m a passionate fisherman in my free time and love to spend my days casting lines. Tackling HVAC challenges is where I thrive, and I’m stoked to bring that same level of enthusiasm and expertise to provide excellent service for your home.

I’m Brett Devries, but most folks around here know me as Blue. I’ve been part of the Baumann & DeGroot family for 12 years now. But here’s a fun fact: my family’s ties to this company go even deeper. I’m a third-generation HVAC tech, following in the footsteps of my family members who have also worked here. You could say that HVAC service runs in my blood! I’m absolutely thrilled to continue the tradition by servicing your home and ensuring your comfort.

I’m Jeff Baumann, but everyone around here calls me Pa. I founded Baumann & DeGroot and have proudly been part of this community for 30 years. My family means the world to me. I have three wonderful kids: fellow business owners Chad and Alex, and my daughter. I’m also a proud grandpa to eight amazing grandchildren. You might not see me on job sites as often anymore, but I’ve poured my heart and expertise into building this company. I believe in our team and am always here to support our team and our customers.

Howdy. My name is Chad Baumann, one of the owners of Baumann and DeGroot. I oversee sales, and you’ll often see me out providing quotes on system replacements. I’ve been unofficially involved with the business since I was ten years old, helping my dad cut sheet metal. Interestingly, it wasn’t cutting sheet metal that sparked my passion for this field; it was learning how to turn off the furnace switch as a child. I am dedicated to taking care of your home and committed to delivering exceptional replacement services.

My name is Alex Baumann, and I’m one of the owners here at Baumann & DeGroot. I joined the company nine years ago, but I’ve been around the industry since I was a child. I specialize in coordinating new construction installations, so you may not see me often unless you are building a new house. If you need to discuss HVAC systems for new construction, I’m your go-to person. When I’m not at job sites, I enjoy going for runs and training for one marathon every year—it’s a passion of mine! I am dedicated to providing top-notch service and ensuring our installations are of the highest quality.
